Hey, so you've read the info and you know the premise! It's time to have a little fun doing that test drive thing before we all plunge into that Mock Week, right? So hey, have fun! The setting of the mock trial is going to be Wild West-inspired. That sort of cheesy Wild West flavor that's got maybe a little grit to it, right? You're free to do whatever you want with the locations and amenities, since it's a TDM and all. Feel free to have some fun making things up.

PROMPTS:
A. DOWNTIME!
1. Arrival! Hey, you've just woken up in this weird Old West town with some weird glasses on your face! Maybe you should mess around with those... or maybe you should leave the room and figure out who else the heck is here. It can't just be you, right?
2. Daily life! So you're stuck in this town. There's an invisible wall around the place, and there's some creepy rules encouraging you to start murdering each other. But... maybe you should just hang out with the other people who are here? You don't wanna get your murder on right away, do you?
3. Challenge! Hey. You're playing a stupid minigame. Pick a Mario Party minigame, or some kind of dumb video game minigame that's a huge departure from the normal gameplay. You're doing that now. Have fun!
4. Investigation! I'm guessing some of you are a little more proactive than others, so you might want to do a little bit of poking around the setting! With a friend, because two heads are better than one! Have fun with that.

B. MURDER!
1. Mmmmotive! So whoever's responsible for you being here has decided you've spent a little too much time not murdering people, and they've decided to give you a little extra push! But... what is that push? Maybe your family and friends back home seem like they're being held hostage, or maybe they're going to leak your deepest secret. Or maybe it's something that doesn't really affect you at all... but it might affect someone else a little more strongly.
2. Murder! YOU'D BETTER GET READY TO DIE. Or someone in your sights had better get ready to die. It's one or the other. Probably.
3. Body discovery! The best part of waking up.... is finding a corpse of one of the other players. Maybe it's a friend, maybe it's someone you hated, maybe it's someone you barely knew. Either way, you're going to have to play amateur sleuth and try to figure out whodunnit!
4. Trial! All the evidence has been found, so it's time... to talk it out! Who did the thing? Did you do the thing? You'd better figure out, or your life may be on the line.
5. Boss fight! Well, you picked the culprit, but they're not going down without a fight. Have fun fighting the mutant, monstrous version of whoever it was!
6. Afterparty! Well, that was definitely something new and different, huh. Probably pretty traumatic for everyone involved! It's time to regroup and maybe have a little food and stare at the wall for a while.

Let's just get this over with.

[She nods as she kneels next to the body, which could probably use an identity. Let's call it Captain Kirk, he was in some video games at some point.]

Look for signs of a struggle.

[...yeah she's just... assuming she's most qualified corpse-toucher here.]

Uh huh.

[Totally didn't cross her mind to do that!

She looks over the body, namely at the arms. If there was a struggle, the arms would be the first place to look, right?]

[Sure! But if you think that means Olympia's going to help roll up his sleeves and look for bruises, you're... probably justified in thinking that since she's been Super Helpful Lady all week, but you're still wrong.]

This seems to be a wound from a slashing attack.

[It's pretty obvious she's talking about the wound to his chest, visible through a similar cut in his bloodstained shirt. Ah, so the cause of death was becoming a redshirt.

Without further ado she pulls the wound open slightly with her fingertips to get a look at anything inside.]

...the...hell are you doing?

[She has seen some shit but this is kind of a bit much]

There may be debris in the wound, which could help us determine the murder weapon.

[...she's not seeing any, though.]

Debris? How does a weapon leave debris?

Blades can be damaged by striking bone or armor.

[But not in this case, apparently. She glances over the shirt one more time, then starts tearing it off.]

That just sounds weird. Blades can't be that easy to break.

[Says the girl from the future with magical laser powers.

Meanwhile she's rolling up the sleeves, and...]

Hey, there're bruises...

Hey, there's another slash here!

You have her attention.]

Multiple attacks. This was definitely the result of a fight.

...Yeah.

[She looks at the wounds, frowning.]

But..something's not right.

Have you found something?

[She's going over analyses herself in her head.]

Yeah, they...the slashes.

The one on the chest isn't as bloody as this one.

...strange. The shirt would have absorbed some of the blood, but...

[...you wouldn't expect such a dramatic difference.]

A deception?

If that's the case then...then this wound didn't kill them.

[She looks at the arm with the bruises and cut.]

...There's got to be more. This cut couldn't have killed them, could it?

It's possible, but unlikely.

[She glances around.]

There isn't enough blood, either.

...So what now? Keep undressing the stiff or something?

We should look for signs of a different murder method.

[Olympia opens up Dead Jim's mouth, and looks in. She doesn't immediately see anything out of place, but...]
